ALYSSA for the Robbins family ? OR | Reece's Rainbow Adoption ...

?I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.? Rev. 3:8

Dan and Sharon have been married almost 35 years. They are the parents of 7 children; Nick, almost 31, was their first international adoption after several years of infertility. When he was 6 weeks old, Sharon went to the doctor to find that she was 8 weeks pregnant! It was at this point, when she was ?complaining? to God about His timing that He whispered to Sharon a little secret. Nick was the child He had promised them years before. In order for Him to bring that miracle, He had to delay the answer they thought they were seeking- a pregnancy. Now, he was giving them that blessing also! Nine months and one day later, their only biological child, Brianna, was born. Their family was complete! But, when Brianna started kindergarten, God began working on Sharon?s heart? foster care. It took 7 years for that to become a reality. And just in time because their first foster child also became their next adoption. Dakota arrived at 4 mo and is now 17 years old. Now, they knew, their family was complete. Then, God laughed and gave them David, who came at age 5 and is now 15. David was a miracle- ?apneic and pulseless? after a severe shaking, ruled ?unadoptable? but his first case worker, he defied all odds and is a ray of sunshine to everyone he meets. God laughed again and Corwin arrived at age 3- he is now 11. Corwin is blessed with that extra chromosome AND an abundance of extra energy! He keeps the family hopping! Finally, twin brothers, Ben and Joe, were placed with the Robbins family in foster care at 4 mo. After almost 40 children had passed through their home and onto other adoptive families God planned for these boys to stay and, at 3 1/2 years their adoption is final. They must be done now, right? But no, God has one more gift? Alyssa will soon join this houseful of boys and bring a bit of girly-girl! They can?t wait!
